– Rider exertion – Battery’s age and state of repair
– Support level – Type and characteristics of the route
– Gear-shifting behavior – Headwind
– Type of tires – Surrounding temperature
– Amount of air in the tires – Total weight (eBike + rider + luggage)
These factors lead to a very broad spectrum of ranges which can be achieved with the Continental eBike System
Components of the Continental eBike System:
The Continental eBike System consists of the following components:
– Operating panel
– Display
– Mid-drive motor with speed sensor (speed sensor not pictured)
– Battery:
– Built-in down tube battery or
– Attached down tube battery or
– Luggage carrier battery
– Charger
Some of these components come in different versions
The Bluetooth®
Low Energy (BLE) interface in the display makes it possible to connect with the Continental smartphone app in addition to all the other available functions. With this data connection, performance data from the Continental eBike System can be combined with the contents of the smartphone app. This information can be shown on both displays.
– Download the Continental smartphone app on your smartphone.
– Connect the display B to your smartphone using the BLE function.
The display can also be switched to Auto or Phone mode.
– Auto mode: The display automatically changes to Phone view when a smartphone is connected.
– Phone mode: The display is always in Phone view.
